Damn it was good! Stumbled upon this cafe about 10-ish minute walk from Rissyakuji temple. Apparently it’s quite popular for the bikers and I can see why. The place is in the real rural area running by a cool owner next to the serene river serving great coffee. I ordered an Old Crow bourbon on the rock along with my americano. Sitting outside and enjoy the afternoon coffee boost after a long walk up the temple. Perfect.

After hiking Yamadera, we were very excited to see a coffee truck as we were about to leave the area. We had great service, and my husband was very excited by the name of the truck and the stickers! The coffee was great, and we enjoyed relaxing with our dogs while drinking it. Drop by if you’re in the area!

Great latte. Excellent coffee blend. Others loved matcha lattes. Great outdoor seating with river view. If you want great coffee go here. No oat milk apparently. Oh well you can't have everything.

Damn good coffee and waffles! Great atmosphere, I love the creative vibes of the shop. You can choose to have your coffee inside or outside. There’s a tent outside with a table and comfortable chairs with a beautiful view of the river below. Great service, the owner is super friendly! If I’m ever in this area again, I’ll for sure come back :)

We were welcomed by the barista and owner Yū before the business started (which was already a nice customer service gesture!). He lived in England and speaks very good English. We had a very nice coffee, matcha latte, waffles and chat! We recommend this place to anyone who loves good coffee, you won't regret

Visited on 17/4. Took a detour to have breakfast here before climbing the mountain. The coffee (iced latte) was very good, the waffle was good as well. The inside of the shop is clean and beautiful. I also enjoyed having a conversation with the shop owner on various topics, he is very good at English. Highly recommended, it’s not very far from the entrance of the temple. I will come again if I have the chance to visit Yamadera again! ごちそうさまでした〜

Amazing coffee. So far the best we had in Japan. You must try the waffles. I got one at first. Then got two more for the road! It was delicious.

The seating outside the cafe is nice. With view of the river and camping seats to rest at. Coffee was nicely done and the staff was quick and polite, speaks English well. Highly recommend for the vibes and coffee. It's a short 7min walk from the Yamdera temple route.
